CRZ ban on house construction - KLCA on the path of agitation.

The regulation under Coastal Zone, (CRZ) banning construction on coastal area is affecting badly on the islanders in Kerala. Whereas, high rise buildings and hotels are permitted and they are on a spree. At the same time, even a partitioned property in 10 cents are not allowable to have a residential construction due to the regulations.

Settle the Moolampilly Issue soon- demanded the KLCA Kaloor Zonal Committee.

Kaloor: The Zonal committee meeting held here on Kaloor demanded the State Government to Settle the issues of Moolampilly evictees at the earliest. The meeting also raised concern about the affected parties in Coastal Zone Regulation in island areas.

The issues of metro rail, Goshree development fund, smart city were also discussed in the meeting. Mr Joseph Anjiparambil presided over. Fr Joshy, Adv Sherry J Thomas, Louiz Thannikkot, Jean P George spoke.

Joseph Anjiparambil elected as the Kerala State President of All India Catholic Union.

Congratulations to Mr Joseph Anjiparambil who has been elected as the State President of AICU in its last General Body. Mr. Anjiparambil was the regional manager of SBI for a long time. He is also the president of Zonal Committee of Kerala Latin Catholic Association, he has also leaderhship roles in NewMans Association, Indian Professional Congress, Residents Association and a couple of other NGOs.

 

KLCA NETTUR UNIT REVAMPED...

kLCA NETTUR Unit reconstitution meeting held here on Nettur Church on 11/11/2012. Mr Antony Pulipparambil is elected as the President and Mr Samson Arackal is elected as the Secretary of the ADHOC committee.

KLCA ARCHDIOCESE OF VERAPOLY formed action council to agitate against the CRZ  regulations in thickly populated area in Kochi.

The organisation demanded a reconsideration and involvement by State Government at the earliest. 

The first convention was held at Kothad.
